It was created during lockdown to give you outstanding street food and awesome Sunday roasts to enjoy at home.

Our chefs love roasting, slow cooking and preparing locally sourced meats, as well as creating delicious plant based and vegetarian delights! Each week they prepare new dishes to pair up with delicious veggies, Yorkshire puddings and all the trimmings.

At the entrance to the Ouseburn and the town side of Byker Bridge, the Tanners holds the proud position of being one of Newcastle's best pubs!
We have dated the pub as far back as the 1800's and it has long been part and parcel of the Ouseburn Valley.
We are pub people, and we love doing what we do! We go all out to give you a great place to chill out, unwind, meet up and make friends – all while sampling our creative treats. We love the scran, we love the booze, we love fresh flavours, we love the music, we love art, we love the fun and we love the craic, but most of all – we love the people we meet!
