What can we say—The Tanners Arms Sunday Lunch is the stuff of legend. Our award-winning, plate-filling, meat-stacked monster (also in veggie and vegan versions, obviously) sets up a Sunday afternoon in style.
If you miss out on a table or fancy eating at home, you can order a Sunday Lunch for COLLECTION at the link below. You can order from Thursday at 9am to Sunday at 11am and collect from The Tanners Arms on Sunday at 12pm. These are a bit of a limited edition, so make sure you get in there quick—once they’re gone, they’re gone!

You can find us just off Byker Bridge — the gateway to the Ouseburn valley. Head down and make us the start of a big night or a long day—we know hedonsim is hungry work eitherway. Table bookings available upto one day in advance—any online booking can be made in advance up until one hour before opening time—please call us or moonwalk in, after then.

586 Records is a Record Shop based in Gateshead. Supplying new and 2nd hand vinyl, across the World—but with seeds germinated and its roots firmly planted within The Tanners.
Method Lounge
Community focused education, engagement and events including Lindisfarne Festival, The Bridge Festival and Method Radio. Method works tirelessly to create platforms and opportunities for creatives in the region to grow, develop, collaborate and much more, specialising in underground dance and urban music, street arts and journalism.
VEGANATOMY
Freshly prepared each morning, we offer a wide range of vegan & gluten free scran from our small open kitchen. Situated in the heart of Newcastle’s East End, our canny little Heaton take-out food spot is inspired by Asian cuisine, with a North East accent. Haway in and give us a try.
